Did you know that European cherry blossoms are only white? Every spring, more than a million trees cover European cherry orchards in white, and at the end of spring, these white blossoms give us a red, intense, and tasty fruit: the cherry.

The cherry, a fresh and delicious fruit with over a hundred varieties grown throughout Europe, is characterised by its sweet and fresh flavour, balanced with a hint of acidity that varies depending on the specific variety and harvest season. Its smooth, shiny skin, which can range in colour from a deep, vivid red to a dark maroon, envelops a juicy, fleshy pulp that houses a small, hard seed in its centre.
